Welcome to the inaugural
International Financial Services Summit
The ‘International Financial Services Summit’ brought together top level international speakers and some of the world’s most respected experts from the financial services industry to Ireland. The event was formatted as a ‘Davos style’ panel debate.
Irish Minister for Finance, Mr Brian Lenihan T.D., opened IFSS 2009 and was followed by speakers such as Professor Nouriel Roubini of New York University, Professor Willem Buiter of the London School of Economics, Mr Martin Wolf, Associate Editor & Chief Economics Commentator, the Financial Times and Mr Timothy P. Flynn, Chairman of KPMG International. These contributors were joined by a range of other internationally recognised speakers at the event which was moderated by renowned journalist, Ms Margaret Doyle.
